Il Castello di Mirwart si trova nella provincia di Lussemburgo vicino al villaggio di Mirwart. Il castello è situato su una collina rocciosa con vista sul fiume Lomme. Il castello fu costruito nell'undicesimo secolo e fu venduto nel 1084 da Richilde di Hainaut a Enrico I di Verdun, principe-vescovo di Liegi. Il principe-vescovo affida la gestione al capo dell'abbazia di Saint-Hubert. Nel 1099 l'abate distrugge il castello. Otberto, il successore di Enrico, fa ricostruire.
