Esta iglesia es una nueva iglesia, los planes datan de 1963-65 y la construcción de la iglesia comenzó en marzo de 1968. La iglesia se puso en uso el 29 de noviembre de 1969. El visitante encuentra la pureza de la medida y forma, de línea y espacio, de proporciones y números en la iglesia tal como fue diseñada por Dom. Van der Laan. También se ha diseñado mobiliario por Van der Laan.
