Kallo es una aldea en la provincia belga de Flandes Oriental y una submunicipalidad de Beveren. La aldea está situada cerca del Escalda; una gran parte del territorio ha sido ocupada por el puerto de Waasland. Ya en el siglo XII, Kallo, entonces conocido como Calloo, existía como aldea en la Tierra de Waas. Por orden del conde de Holanda, Guillermo III de Holanda, en 1316, se incendió la aldea y luego se inundó. En 1582 se construyó el Fuerte Liefkenshoek para protegerse de los españoles. En 1583, el duque de Parma ordenó una inundación que duró 70 días. El fuerte fue conquistado por los españoles en 1584.
