Zevekote es un pequeño pueblo de los pólders en la provincia belga de Flandes Occidental y es un distrito del municipio de Gistel. El núcleo de la aldea rural se encuentra principalmente a lo largo del antiguo camino de Gistel a Nieuwpoort.
Durante la extracción de turba en el siglo XIX se encontraron numerosas piezas romanas, lo que indica la presencia romana. En esa época, de hecho, en la vecina Leffinge se estaba llevando a cabo la extracción de sal y a aproximadamente 10 kilómetros de allí se encontraba el importante castillo romano de Oudenburg.
