Zevekote ist ein kleines Polderdorf in der belgischen Provinz Westflandern und ein Stadtteil von Gistel. Der Kern des ländlichen Dorfes liegt hauptsächlich entlang der alten Straße von Gistel nach Nieuwpoort.
Während der Torfgewinnung im 19. Jahrhundert wurden viele römische Artefakte gefunden, was auf eine römische Präsenz hinweist. In dieser Zeit wurde im benachbarten Leffinge Salz gewonnen und etwa 10 Kilometer davon entfernt befand sich das wichtige römische Kastell von Oudenburg.
