El 14 de febrero de 1983, se robó aquí en Plancenoit un Golf Rabbit que más tarde se relacionaría con las actividades de la Banda de Nivelles. En el momento en que la Sra. Geneviève Van Lidth de Jeugd se preparaba para ir a casa, fue amenazada por un hombre que salió de un Peugeot 504. El hombre llevaba una máscara negra y estaba armado con una pistola. Su Golf Rabbit fue robado en Plancenoit. Catorce días después del robo de un Volkswagen Golf en Plancenoit, tres individuos fuertemente armados asaltaron el Delhaize de Fort Jaco, ubicado en la carretera de Waterloo en Uccle. Más tarde, ese Golf fue encontrado en Bois de Hourpes.
