Irchonwelz es una aldea en la provincia belga de Henao y una parte del municipio de la ciudad valona de Aat. Irchonwelz fue un municipio independiente hasta que fue incorporado al municipio de Aat durante la reorganización municipal de 1977. El sitio de Irchonwelz ha estado habitado desde el comienzo del Neolítico alrededor del 5000 a.C. por poblaciones originarias del valle del Danubio. Durante las excavaciones en la cuenca del Dender en 1978, se descubrió un sitio arqueológico en el lugar llamado "Bonne Fortune". Basándose en estos Hallazgos, se reconstruyó una casa típica con las herramientas de esa época, que se puede visitar en la Arqueosite de Aubechies-Beloeil.
