Irchonwelz è un villaggio nella provincia belga di Hainaut ed è una frazione della città vallona di Aat. Irchonwelz era un comune autonomo, fino a quando non è stato aggiunto al comune di Aat durante la riforma comunale del 1977. Il sito di Irchonwelz è stato abitato sin dall'inizio del Neolitico, intorno al 5000 a.C., da popolazioni provenienti dalla valle del Danubio. Negli scavi nel bacino del Dender nel 1978 è stato scoperto un sito archeologico nel luogo chiamato "Bonne Fortune". Sulla base di questi ritrovamenti è stata ricostruita una tipica casa con gli strumenti dell'epoca, che può essere visitata all'Archeosite di Aubechies-Beloeil.
