Aquí encontrarás, entre otras cosas, algunos grandes pinos marítimos, reconocibles por su corteza gruesa, sus largas agujas y enormes piñas. El pino marítimo es originario de la región del Mediterráneo y fue introducido aquí desde el siglo XIX por su rápido crecimiento. El pino crece aquí a menudo de manera notable inclinada. Los árboles en la llanura arenosa un poco más allá han crecido como árboles solitarios en un paisaje de brezo abierto. Las copas anchas han crecido en todas direcciones. Son especiales las encinas cubiertas de arena. Parecen no tener tronco; este ha sido cubierto por la arena. Esto da una imagen de las dunas de arena que tuvieron lugar aquí en el pasado.
