La Haye Sainte es una típica granja cuadrada brabantina que desempeñó un papel importante durante la Batalla de Waterloo el 18 de junio de 1815. La granja, con un patio central, se encuentra en Lasne, en el camino de Charleroi a Bruselas, al pie de una pequeña colina. El camino conduce de La Belle Alliance a través del centro del batallón francés, hasta el cruce de la ladera y luego hacia Bruselas. El duque de Wellington colocó la mayoría de sus tropas a ambos lados del camino detrás de la colina. La pendiente los mantenía fuera de la vista de los franceses.
