La Grote Markt de Lier es la gran plaza del mercado de la ciudad belga de Lier. La forma triangular sugiere que Lier tiene un origen francón.
La Grote Markt ha sido un importante centro de Lier desde la Edad Media, cuando fue elevada a ciudad en 1212. Varias calles principales convergen aquí desde las puertas de la ciudad. En 1367 se estableció una sala de paños, que más tarde se convirtió en el ayuntamiento. Ya en 1383, la parte del mercado delante de esta sala de paños fue adoquinada. En 1557, toda la plaza fue elevada y pavimentada con adoquines.
