La fantástica estatua de Nello y Patrasche en la plaza de los Guantes de Amberes. La escultura de mármol blanco del diseñador Batist Vermeulen mide 1,10 metros de altura y 1,80 metros de ancho. Las figuras provienen de la novela 'Un perro de Flandes' (1872) de la escritora inglesa Marie Louise de la Ramée, también conocida como Ouida. Nello es un pobre huérfano en un pobre pueblo agrícola a las afueras de la ciudad de Amberes, que tiene una fuerte amistad con su perro.
