En la hermosa zona natural de Amblève se encuentra un lugar casi mágico, el Fonds de Quarreux. Durante una caminata de 1,5 km a lo largo del río, descubrirá estos misteriosos bloques de roca redondeados. Según la leyenda, estas piedras de cuarcita son los restos de un molino que el diablo habría construido para un molinero que vendió su alma al diablo. El molinero fue salvado por su esposa, quien impidió que el molino girara. El diablo estalló de ira, destruyó el molino y mató a la mujer. Se dice que si escuchas atentamente, aún se puede oír el lamento del pobre hombre. Los amantes de las leyendas, la naturaleza o las caminatas desafiantes acuden al Fonds de Quarreux para un viaje en el tiempo que despierta la imaginación.
