A mediados del siglo XIX se añadió un programa a la formación profesional de los jóvenes colocados en el 'asilo', es decir, una formación para marineros. Sin embargo, una formación para marineros en medio de los bosques es difícil sin un barco. Por eso se construyó un barco de carga de tres mástiles de imitación en el prado cercano, alrededor del cual se excavó un estanque. El tres mástiles ha desaparecido, pero el 'pozo del barco' todavía está allí.
