Astenet es un lugar en el norte de la Comunidad de habla alemana de Bélgica, que pertenece al municipio de Lontzen. Se encuentra a unos dos kilómetros al noreste de Lontzen, en la carretera entre Walhorn y Hergenrath. En medio de Astenet pasa la línea ferroviaria de Liège–Aquisgrán, sin embargo, la estación del pueblo fue cerrada en 1957 y demolida en 1975. El pueblo tiene aproximadamente 615 habitantes.
