Ubicada en las Ardenas, en la región de Ferrières, el sitio en cuestión reúne varias parcelas municipales dispersas alrededor de los núcleos de Bosson y Grand Trixhe. Estas parcelas contienen una buena cantidad de hábitats que son raros a nivel regional, en particular pantanos ácidos y prados húmedos, apenas fertilizados o no fertilizados. Las principales especies son el nardo (Nardus stricta), la juncia blanquecina (Carex canescens) y la orquídea manchada (Dactylorhiza maculata). La fauna local ha sido poco estudiada hasta ahora.
