In der Ardenne, in der Region Ferrières, befindet sich das betroffene Gelände, das mehrere kommunale Parzellen versammelt, die sich um die Weiler Bosson und Grand Trixhe gruppieren. Diese Parzellen enthalten ein schönes Muster von Lebensräumen, die auf regionaler Ebene selten geworden sind, insbesondere saure Niedermoorlandschaften und wenig bis nicht gedüngte Feuchtwiesen. Die Hauptarten sind der Narde (Nardus stricta), die weiße Binse (Carex canescens) und das gefleckte Knabenkraut (Dactylorhiza maculata). Die lokale Fauna wurde bisher nur unzureichend untersucht.
