El antiguo Casino de Chimay, que domina la plaza de los Ormeaux , fue construido en 1843 sobre el lugar de un antiguo mercado cubierto.
Fue construido en estilo neoclásico y tiene planta rectangular. Una de las fachadas, a la derecha, está precedida por un alto y profundo pórtico de arcos de medio punto y clave saliente con coronación decorada en oro y amplia escalera.
La acogedora brasserie tiene un diseño muy especial . Una antigua colección de fotografías cuenta la historia de la vida de los habitantes de Chimay y del casino. El gerente propone en la carta platos regionales, como el scabeche de Chimay, la terrina de Chimay, la trucha Abbé Gourmand u otras propuestas del día. Cuando hace buen tiempo es agradable relajarse en la terraza.
