Nicosia Norte , también llamada en su forma turca como Lefkoşa,[1][2][3] es la capital y ciudad más grande del estado de facto de la República Turca del Norte de Chipre. Es la parte norte de la ciudad dividida de Nicosia y se rige por el municipio metropolitano turcochipriota de Lefkoşa . A partir de 2011, Nicosia Norte tenía una población de 61.378 y un área metropolitana con una población de 82.539.
