Niederstotzingen es una pequeña ciudad en el distrito de Heidenheim en Baden-Württemberg, en el sur de Alemania. Se encuentra a 17 km al sureste de Heidenheim y a 24 km al noreste de Ulm. La ciudad consiste en cuatro secciones o aldeas: Niederstotzingen, Oberstotzingen, Stetten ob Lontal y la sección combinada Lontal und Reuendorf. Tiene 4,850 habitantes.
La región alrededor de Niederstotzingen ha estado habitada desde épocas prehistóricas. Se han encontrado tallas de marfil de mamut en el área que se han datado en 35,000 a.C. La principal fuente de estas tallas es la Vogelherdhöhle, una cueva cerca de la Niederstotzingen moderna que puede haber sido utilizada como zona de descanso y refugio durante casi 30,000 años.
