Niederstotzingen è una piccola città nel distretto di Heidenheim in Baden-Württemberg, nel sud della Germania. Si trova a 17 km a sud-est di Heidenheim e a 24 km a nord-est di Ulm. La città è composta da quattro sezioni o villaggi: Niederstotzingen, Oberstotzingen, Stetten ob Lontal e la sezione combinata Lontal und Reuendorf. Ci sono 4.850 abitanti.
La regione attorno a Niederstotzingen è abitata sin dai tempi preistorici. I reperti di incisioni in avorio di mammut nell'area sono stati datati a 35.000 a.C. La principale fonte di queste incisioni è la Vogelherdhöhle, una grotta vicino all'attuale Niederstotzingen che potrebbe essere stata utilizzata come area di sosta e rifugio per quasi 30.000 anni.
