Höhr-Grenzhausen es una ciudad en el distrito de Westerwald en Renania-Palatinado. Es un núcleo de la industria cerámica en Kannenbäckerland con la universidad especializada en cerámica o escuela de diseño cerámico, de ahí también el apodo "ciudad de Kannenbäcker".
La ciudad pertenece a la mancomunidad de municipios homónima, cuya sede también ocupa. Höhr-Grenzhausen está designada como centro mediano de acuerdo con la planificación estatal.
