Kenzingen [5] es una ciudad pequeña en la Brisgovia septentrional, una zona en la región Baden. Pertenece al distrito de Emmendingen en Baden-Wurtemberg, Alemania. La ciudad Kenzingen está ubicada al borde de la Selva Negra a unos 25 kilómetros al norte de Friburgo de Brisgovia.[6] Por el núcleo de la ciudad fluye el río Elz que más al oeste desemboca en el Rin. La ciudad tiene 9247 habitantes y está formada por 3 pueblos: Nordweil, Hecklingen y Bombach.
