Gebhardshagen es uno de los 31 distritos de la ciudad independiente de Salzgitter en Baja Sajonia, situado en la localidad de West. Es el cuarto distrito más grande de Salzgitter y se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad. Gebhardshagen perteneció hasta el 31 de marzo de 1942 al distrito de Wolfenbüttel y se convirtió en parte de la gran ciudad de Watenstedt-Salzgitter mediante un acto administrativo el 1 de abril de 1942. El 23 de enero de 1951, esta fue oficialmente renombrada como Salzgitter.
Gebhardshagen se encuentra entre Salzgitter-Salder y Salzgitter-Engerode y Calbecht en la carretera Nord-Süd, una vía rápida que conecta los distritos más grandes de Salzgitter, Lebenstedt y Bad. Al oeste de Gebhardshagen se encuentra el municipio de Haverlah.
