Gebhardshagen est l'un des 31 quartiers de la ville indépendante de Salzgitter en Basse-Saxe, situé dans la localité de West. C'est le quatrième plus grand quartier de Salzgitter et se trouve au centre de la ville. Gebhardshagen appartenait jusqu'au 31 mars 1942 au district de Wolfenbüttel et a été intégré par un acte administratif le 1er avril 1942 à la grande ville de Watenstedt-Salzgitter. Le 23 janvier 1951, celle-ci a été officiellement renommée Salzgitter.
Gebhardshagen se situe entre Salzgitter-Salder et Salzgitter-Engerode et Calbecht à la route Nord-Sud, une route rapide qui relie les plus grands quartiers de Salzgitter, Lebenstedt et Bad. À l'ouest de Gebhardshagen se trouve la commune de Haverlah.
