Ramsdorf es una localidad del municipio de Velen en el distrito de Borken, en el oeste de Münsterland. Se encuentra al noroeste de la serie montañosa Die Berge, junto al río Bocholter Aa, que nace al norte de Velen.
Hasta 1975, Ramsdorf era un municipio independiente, que en ciertos momentos disfrutó de derechos especiales como Wigbold. El edificio más conocido de Ramsdorf es el castillo de Ramsdorf.
