El Gildehauser Venn es un área de pantano y brezal en la zona fronteriza del distrito de Bentheim, Renania del Norte-Westfalia y los Países Bajos. Se encuentra en el área urbana de Bad Bentheim entre Gildehaus y Gronau. El Gildehauser Venn se considera uno de los humedales de mayor valor natural del noroeste de Alemania. El Gildehauser Venn tiene 740 hectáreas de tamaño. Partes del Venn ya se habían designado como reserva natural en mayo de 1938. En 1985, se designó el NSG en su tamaño actual de 650 ha. La zona central del NSG, en la que existe una prohibición total de uso, tiene 350 ha de tamaño. Esta reserva natural es en gran parte parte del área FFH Gildehauser Venn con un tamaño de 611,4 ha. En 1995, se elaboró un plan de cuidado y desarrollo para el Gildehauser Venn. El distrito de Grafschaft Bentheim es el responsable como autoridad de protección ambiental inferior.
