La batalla del Bosque de Hürtgen es el nombre de una de las batallas más feroces libradas entre las tropas estadounidenses y las fuerzas alemanas durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial en el bosque de Hürtgen, y que se convertiría en la más larga disputada por el Ejército de los Estados Unidos no solo durante la guerra, sino en toda su historia.[7] Se disputó entre el 14 de septiembre de 1944, y el 10 de febrero de 1945, sobre un pequeño territorio de apenas 129 km², al este de la frontera belga-alemana.
