La Abadía de Himmerod es una abadía cisterciense que fue fundada en 1134 por Bernardo de Clairvaux. El monasterio se encuentra en la Eifel, entre Großlittgen y Eisenschmitt. La iniciativa para la fundación de la abadía fue de Adalbero de Montreuil, quien fue nombrado arzobispo de Tréveris en 1131.
