L'Abbazia di Himmerod è un'abbazia cistercense fondata nel 1134 da Bernardo di Clairvaux. Il monastero si trova nell'Eifel tra Großlittgen ed Eisenschmitt. L'iniziativa per la fondazione dell'abbazia fu di Adalbero di Montreuil, che nel 1131 fu nominato arcivescovo di Treviri.
