La casa de la logia masónica "A las cinco torres en la fuente de sal" está en la calle Kardinal-Albrecht 6 en Halle.
La logia se fundó en 1884 como una asociación masónica y recibió en 1885 de la Gran Logia de Prusia denominada Royal York para la Amistad su patente de constitución como logia. Entre sus miembros más conocidos se encontraban el biólogo Otto Schmeil, el escultor Paul Reiling, el chocolatero Bernhard Most, el comerciante de pianos Balthasar Döll, el constructor y fabricante Friedrich Kuhnt, así como el arquitecto Ernst Heinrich Giese.
