El Palacio Minckwitz es un palacio urbano del medio siglo XVIII en la Nueva Ciudad de Dessau. Lleva el nombre del sexto propietario, un miembro de la familia von Minckwitz.
La ciudad de Dessau perdió en las noches de bombardeo de la Segunda Guerra Mundial casi toda su estructura histórica. Demoliciones justificadas ideológicamente de los pocos monumentos arquitectónicos conservados en el centro de la ciudad hicieron espacio para una nueva ciudad socialista. En el corazón de la ciudad, solo la calle Johannisstraße había sobrevivido a todos los cambios casi ilesa hasta 1990. Allí se han conservado el Palacio Bose y el Palacio Minckwitz en la antigua Plaza Nueva. Ahora es la casa completamente conservada más antigua. Se encuentra en la Nueva Ciudad, que comenzó a desarrollarse a finales del siglo XVII, frente a la iglesia luterana de San Juan, construida entre 1688 y 1702 según los planos del holandés Cornelis Ryckwaert.
