La región conocida como Osnabrücker Hügelland se refiere al paisaje montañoso que alcanza hasta 234,3 m sobre el nivel del mar en el noroeste de la zona montañosa de Baja Sajonia, cerca de Osnabrück, que está enmarcado al norte por las montañas Wiehen y al sur por el bosque de Teutoburgo.
La denominación Osnabrücker Bergland es también muy común regionalmente y en el turismo, aunque generalmente no se refiere a un paisaje físico definido de manera exacta, sino que está relacionada con los límites de la ciudad de Osnabrück o un radio más cercano a la ciudad. En contraste, la unidad principal del paisaje natural, Osnabrücker Hügelland, se extiende desde el noroeste de Ibbenbüren hasta las montañas Meller al norte de Melle, detrás de las cuales se encuentra su continuación sureste, el Hügelland de Ravensberg.
