El Dreiskopf cerca de Schwalefeld es una elevación de 779,8 m sobre el nivel del mar del Rothaargebirge, en el límite del distrito hessiano de Waldeck-Frankenberg con el distrito de Hochsauerland en Renania del Norte-Westfalia.
El Dreiskopf se encuentra en la parte noreste del Rothaargebirge en la línea divisoria de Hochsauerland en el distrito de Hochsauerland de Westfalia y Upland en el distrito hessiano de Waldeck-Frankenberg. En el parque natural de Diemelsee, que se encuentra a ambos lados de la frontera, representa la elevación norte de la cadena montañosa Dreis, cuya elevación sur es el Hohe Eimberg. Su cumbre se encuentra en la frontera estatal, a 3.5 km al norte de Willingen, 2.4 km al noroeste de su distrito Schwalefeld y 3 km al sureste del distrito de Brilonen de Brilon-Wald; la montaña pertenece a las áreas de Willingen y Brilon.
