La casa en la Hauptstraße 39 es un edificio histórico protegido y se encuentra en la zona peatonal de la ciudad del distrito de Bergheim en el distrito de Rhein-Erft.
La encantadora casa de estilo modernista data de finales del siglo XIX o principios del siglo XX. Para el año 1911, se conoce al propietario como el maestro sastre Wilhelm Dresen. Después de la Primera Guerra Mundial, su hijo Josef estableció una tienda de bicicletas en este edificio, un negocio nuevo y lucrativo en ese momento. Porque en la década de 1920, Bergheim y las ciudades circundantes vivieron una época dorada del ciclismo. Se fundaron clubes de ciclismo y en el terreno del actual tribunal se construyó una gran pista de carreras de bicicletas.
