Het huis Hauptstraße 39 is een monumentaal, historisch gebouw en bevindt zich in de voetgangerszone van de Kreisstadt Bergheim in de Rhein-Erft-Kreis.
Het charmante jugendstilhuis dateert uit het einde van de 19e of het begin van de 20e eeuw. Voor het jaar 1911 is de eigenaar de zadelmaker Wilhelm Dresen bekend. Na de Eerste Wereldoorlog richtte zijn zoon Josef in dit huis een fietsenwinkel in, een toen nieuw en lucratief bedrijf. In de jaren 1920 beleefden Bergheim en de omliggende steden een bloeiperiode in de fietssport. Fietsenclubs werden opgericht, en op het terrein van de huidige rechtbank ontstond een grote wielrenbaan.
