El Hexentanzplatz es una meseta, alta a lo largo del Bodedal, frente a la Rosstrappe en el estado alemán de Sajonia-Anhalt.
El Hexentanzplatz es probablemente un antiguo lugar de culto sajón con varios rituales anuales, como la noche del 1 de mayo. En esa noche se celebran las llamadas fiestas de los Lagartos. Debido a una prohibición cultural, el lugar fue prohibido en su momento por los cristianos francos. Según la tradición, el lugar se utilizó para hacer cumplir la prohibición. Sin embargo, los sajones, disfrazados de brujas, ahuyentaron a los francos con escobas voladoras. Otro antiguo lugar cultural de los sajones se encuentra en la montaña más alta de los Harz, el Brocken.
