Le Hexentanzplatz est un plateau, situé haut le long de la vallée de la Bode, en face de la Rosstrappe dans l'État allemand de Saxe-Anhalt.
Le Hexentanzplatz est probablement un ancien site cultuel saxon avec divers rituels annuels, comme la nuit du 1er mai. Cette nuit-là, on célèbre les soi-disant fêtes des Lézards. En raison d'une interdiction culturelle, le site a autrefois été interdit par des chrétiens francs. Selon la légende, l'endroit était utilisé pour faire respecter l'interdiction. Les Saxons, déguisés en sorcières, chassaient cependant les Francs avec des balais volants. Un autre ancien site culturel des Saxons se trouve au sommet de la plus haute montagne du Harz, le Brocken.
