La diócesis de Naumburg-Zeitz fue una antigua diócesis en la zona de Alemania central, entre Leipzig al este y Erfurt al oeste. La sede del obispo estuvo entre 968 y 1029 en Zeitz con la catedral de Zeitz y entre 1029 y 1615 en Naumburg con la catedral de Naumburg. Fue disuelta a raíz de la Reforma en el año 1562.
A propuesta del emperador Otto, el Papa Juan XIII aprobó en 967 la creación de más diócesis en las recién adquiridas tierras eslavas al este del Saale. En 968 se fundó la diócesis de Zeitz. Estas pertenecían como sufragáneas a la provincia eclesiástica de la arquidiócesis de Magdeburgo.
