La localidad de Lettin es, junto con Heide-Nord/Blumenau, otro barrio del distrito de Lettin, en el distrito Oeste de Halle, en Sajonia-Anhalt. Se encuentra en el noroeste de la ciudad, a orillas del Saale, al norte del barrio de Heide-Nord/Blumenau y del distrito de Dölau. A finales de 2019, Lettin tenía 1066 habitantes.
Lettin está en el borde norte del distrito Oeste de la ciudad de Halle, en el sur de Sajonia-Anhalt. Justo al noreste fluye el Saale. Al este se encuentra el puerto de Halle y la zona industrial Norte con una planta de energía térmica. A través del pueblo, se extiende en un arco la carretera Nordstraße – Schiepziger Straße desde Kröllwitz y Halle-Neustadt al sur hacia Schiepzig y Salzmünde al oeste. Desde allí, en el centro del distrito, se desvía hacia el sur la antigua carretera a Dölau. Sin embargo, esta ya no es completamente transitable y solo conecta desde hace algunas décadas a Lettin con el barrio de Heide-Nord/Blumenau. Entre Nordstraße y Kirchstraße se encuentra la iglesia de San Wenzel. El cementerio de Lettin está aproximadamente a 500 m al sureste de allí. Justo al sur del cementerio se encuentra el campo de deportes del VFB Lettin 07 e.V. En Blumenauweg en dirección a Heide-Nord se encuentra el taller principal de los talleres de discapacitados de Halle.
