Berbersdorf es un distrito del municipio de Striegistal en el distrito de Mittelsachsen, en el estado libre de Sajonia. El lugar, junto con su distrito Schmalbach, se unió el 1 de enero de 1994 con otros tres lugares para formar el municipio de Striegistal, que a su vez se amplió con el municipio de Tiefenbach el 1 de julio de 2008.
Berbersdorf se encuentra en el centro del municipio de Striegistal en un valle en la parte inferior del arroyo Berbersdorfer, un afluente del Striegis. Al oeste del lugar, el Große y el Kleine Striegis se unen para formar el Striegis. En el valle del Striegis, al noroeste del lugar, se encuentra el mirador "Hoher Stein". La distancia a la capital del estado, Dresde, es de aproximadamente 40 km, y a Chemnitz son unos 30 km. Leipzig está a unos 100 km por la A 14.
