El área de protección de la naturaleza y el paisaje de la llanura del Rin Wyhl-Weisweil se encuentra en el territorio de los municipios de Rheinhausen, Sasbach am Kaiserstuhl, Weisweil y Wyhl
en el distrito de Emmendingen.
El área se extiende directamente a lo largo del Rin que fluye hacia el oeste, entre el núcleo del municipio de Rheinhausen en el noreste y el núcleo del municipio de Sasbach en el sur. Es atravesada por el antiguo cauce del Rin. La carretera estatal 104 discurre al este.
