The nature and landscape conservation area Rheinniederung Wyhl-Weisweil is located in the area of the municipalities Rheinhausen, Sasbach am Kaiserstuhl, Weisweil, and Wyhl
in the district of Emmendingen.
The area stretches directly along the west-flowing Rhine between the main town of Rheinhausen in the northeast and the main town of Sasbach in the south. It is traversed by the continuous old Rhine channel. The state road 104 runs to the east.
