El Gymnasium Albertus-Magnus es una escuela secundaria de educación general fundada en 1972 en Ettlingen. Lleva el nombre del erudito y obispo alemán Albertus Magnus.
El proceso de nombramiento del Gymnasium no fue sencillo. Propuestas como "Gymnasium Heinrich-Hertz" o "Gymnasium Kasper-Hedio" por parte de la conferencia de profesores fueron rechazadas por la junta administrativa. La propuesta de la primera directora del Gymnasium, Gertrud Zollner, "Gymnasium Albertus-Magnus", fue bien recibida. Hugo Rimmelspacher, el entonces alcalde, apoyó este nombre. Sin embargo, los otros concejales consideraron que el nombre era demasiado apolítico en comparación con nombres como "Gymnasium Heinrich-Böll". No obstante, en la votación final, se optó por el nombre.
