El lago Monbag, anteriormente conocido como lago de excavación Monheimer noreste, es una masa de agua en una antigua cantera de grava y arena en el área de la ciudad de Monheim am Rhein. Al norte, está limitado por la calle Opladener. La extracción se detuvo en 1998. La grúa de Demag de 1928 es hoy un monumento industrial. El lago es un área protegida. También se utiliza para deportes acuáticos.
