The Monbagsee, formerly also Monheimer Baggersee Nord-Ost, is a body of water in a former gravel and sand pit in the area of the city of Monheim am Rhein. It is bordered to the north by Opladener Straße. Production was discontinued in 1998. The Demag crane from 1928 is now an industrial monument. The lake is a nature reserve. It is also used for water sports.
