La estación de metro Bochum Hauptbahnhof se encuentra debajo de la estación principal de Bochum. Es servida por las líneas U35, 302, 305, 306, 308, 310, 316 y 318 del tranvía de Bochum.
La estación de torres cuenta con tres niveles. El nivel superior sirve solo como nivel de distribución y tiene algunas tiendas y una oficina de servicio de Bogestra. En el nivel medio paran las líneas de vía métrica 306, 308 y 318. Las dos vías están en dos andenes laterales. En el nivel inferior se encuentran en dos salas las vías de ancho normal para la línea U 35 y las vías de ancho métrico para las líneas de tranvía 302 y 310, ubicándose los andenes entre las vías de ancho normal que transcurren por el centro y las vías de ancho métrico que están a los lados.
