El Hospital St. Vincenz fue un hospital en el barrio Stoppenberg de Essen. Formaba parte del grupo Católico Klinikum Essen, que desde 2014 era parte del grupo Contilia. El 31 de diciembre de 2020 fue cerrado y las especialidades se trasladaron al Philippusstift en Essen-Borbeck-Mitte.
La institución tenía sus raíces históricas en el año 1881, cuando el creciente número de accidentados y personas con enfermedades pulmonares debido a la minería en la región del Ruhr hizo imprescindible la creación de un hospital en Stoppenberg. Esta tarea fue asumida por la parroquia católica de San Nicolás, que pudo abrir el nuevo hospital en 1886. La atención médica fue asumida, tras la insistente petición del sacerdote Peter Wilhelm Leonhard Hicken, inicialmente por cuatro hermanas de la Cooperativa de Hermanas de la Caridad de Santa Isabel de Essen. En la fase inicial, todos los servicios del hospital se ofrecían de manera gratuita; solo un año después de la inauguración del establecimiento comenzaron los primeros pagos por los cuidados.
