La Ministerio de Quirinus es considerado un excelente ejemplo de arquitectura sagrada en el período de transición del románico al gótico en Alemania. Sigue siendo el hito de la ciudad de Neuss. Fue construido entre 1209 y 1230. El 6 de octubre de 2009, la iglesia fue elevada al estatus de Basílica Menor por el Papa Benedicto XVI.
