Chiva es un municipio de la Comunidad Valenciana , perteneciente a la provincia de Valencia. Cuenta con 15 123[1] habitantes.
Integrado en la comarca de Hoya de Buñol, se encuentra situada a 31 kilómetros de la capital valenciana. El término municipal está atravesado por la Autovía del Este, entre los pK 322 y 329 así como por las carreteras autonómicas CV-50, que permite la comunicación con Godelleta y Cheste, la CV-379, que la une a Gestalgar, y a CV-421, que la une con Turís.
